2006 New England AAU Championships

"WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS" was blaring on the loud speakers; it was deafening; the stands were rockin'; parent's were raucous and almost rowdy; divers were rowdy, delirious and almost raucous. like a World Soccer Game in Madrid, Spain, the atmosphere was nearing dangerous because of the joyous delirium. Well, o.k., the last part is true :). We won again! But the atmosphere was more like what you'd hear in a dusty,deserted attic. For sure, Patrick Demarle and Bridget Duffy were belting out "We Are The Champions" in their heads. :)

The low-key ending to our two-day meet, did not however, mar the facts that it was a total team effort by BAD & BADWEST and that some super performances shall be recorded in the annals of BAD & BADWEST diving..
12 GOLDS, 11 SILVERS, 8 BRONZES, three 4TH places, seven 5TH places, two 6TH places, three 7TH places, one 8TH PLACE. Everyone came to dive, we looked awesome as a team and a group..Enjoy the pics!
