Veteran's Day ~ Nov 11, 2007
Happy
Veteran's Day may be an oxymoron....but enjoy it nonetheless. Your
coach is a proud veteran of the United States Coast Guard and a Vietnam Era
Vet!
May all your memories of your past veterans be as warm
as mine.
May current veterans remain safe and out of harm's
way....
I
am reminded on this, my favorite holiday, that "Freedom isn't free."
Sacrifices are made all the time....Loved ones are separated all he time,
and military people are lost all the time -unfortunately the latter is a
fact of life; Just visit Arlington National Cemetery or the myriad of
white-crossed war memorial cemeteries thruout Europe.
They are a kick in the _ss reminder of why we
enjoy what we enjoy.
Hug a Vet!!!
Semper Paratus! Can you spot Jim in these
U.S. Coast Guard Photos?
