2009-10 team training fees may be paid monthly or yearly. Monthly payments are due by the 7th of each month during the season, Sep thru June. Parents may opt to pay on a yearly basis. Yearly payments may be made in three consecutive lump sums - September, October & November (minimum payment of $500).
Please note: PROGRAM FEES ARE STILL PAID IF A DIVER IS UNABLE TO ATTEND DUE TO INJURY, ILLNESS, FAMILY VACATIONS ETC. DIVERS WHO DIVE IN HIGH SCHOOL OR WHO CHOOSE TO DO ANOTHER HIGH SCHOOL SPORT during our season, ARE STILL OBLIGATED TO PAY the MONTHLY PROGRAM FEE.
AFTER JUNE, you have no obligation to BADWEST. however most of our divers do train in the summer months-as the more advanced U.S. Diving & AAU Championship meets are in June, July and August (Nationals). We run summer clinics and longer practice sessions in late June and July and we also run a two-week clinic in July/August. After June, the Summer fees vary depending on the program and are based on how often the diver attends.

TEAM POLICIES
Traveling team are those divers who have shown by their practice habits and diving advancement that they can be competitive in their age group. Only divers with complete, solid, competitive 1 & 3 meter diving lists will be invited to the more competitive meets outside our New England area.
AWAY MEET fees policy:
An away meet is any meet hosted
at another pool, any facility that involves travel from Atkinson or the Beede
Center, our home pools.
Those attending
traveling/away meets will pay coaches fees: coaching ($25 per diver - per day) plus
travel, lodging, other expenses....divided by number of participants. In the
event you volunteer at an away meet and you work four hours or more
at any meet, you will receive a 50% discount on the coaches fees.
RECOMMENDED DAYS PER WEEK for GOLD TEAM MEMBERS
Weekly practices ~ To be competitive in your age group, try to make the recommended number of weekly practices.
10-13 age groupers - 2-3 days a week; 10 & 11's may only exceed 3 days a week with coaches approval..and will pay the 14-18 (Gold) rate.
14-18 age groupers 4-5 days a week recommended
MIT PRACTICE POLICY
- beginning March 2009 ~ $30 per diver
1)
Supplemental 3 meter training - must commit to our regularly
scheduled 3 meter practices 1st.
eg. Cannot substitute/exchange it as one of your two 3 meter weekly
practices.
a) exception: on weeks we only have one
Concord 3 meter practice scheduled, MIT/BU will be offered and schedule
will be emailed out.
You may only go to another program's practice if you are practicing 3
meter! And, you must clear thru Jim in advance.
2) Sorry, at this point, this opportunity is not for all. Divers will be rotated in and will be on a "need" basis. eg who has most chance of qualifying up top; who needs more 3 meter practice before big meets etc. Coaches discretion.
3) Process: All divers will clear thru Jim first who in turn, will coordinate with Brad. Feel free to call me or email me about your options and/or whether you are ready or deserving of this additional program opportunity. We will determine who can dive at MIT/BU on an individual basis.
